    A network meeting is open for both members and non-members. We often have a speaker and network about the topic that the speaker has presented.

  • Annual General Meeting

    In 2017 we had our Annual General Meeting and dinner at the lovely Munkebjerg Hotel in Vejle. If you are a member you can find documents from the AGM here.

  • Training Day

    Our members are invited once a year to the International Training Day - it takes place in a different country each year, and our members help select the topic of the training. We use internationally acclaimed trainers - native English speakers preferably - and you will receive a certificate of attendance.

    Our Training Days have a very high standard and are always linked to our profession.

    The next Training Day (21st) will take place in Barcelona, Spain in April 28, 2018. The topic is: The Digital Age; Your online brand matters - be strategic.

    The 22nd Training Day will take place in Greece, 2019. The topic is 'The future is now'. Exact date and place is to be confirmed.

  • International Conference

    Each year IMA hosts an International Conference in one of the member countries. The topic is always relevant to our profession and each year we hear speakers from all over the world highlighting the topic in different ways. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your network as we see approximately 200 participants at the Conference - and we do have time to meet and chat and get acquainted.

    The International Conference is very much a highlight of the IMA year.

    The next 44th International Conference will take place in Frankfurt, Germany on October, 26th 2018. The topic is: The Digital Age.

    Furthermore the 10th World Administrators Summit (WASummit) will be hosted by IMA in 2018. The summit gathers representatives from professional organizations around the globe to discuss and further develop our profession. The WAsummet will take place in Frankfurt, Germany on October, 24-25 2018.

    The 45th International conference will take place in Geneva, Switzerland in 2019. The topic is: The Digital Age. Exact date and place is to be confirmed.

All meetings in IMA Denmark will be conducted in Danish unless we clearly state otherwise.

Past Network Meetings 2017

IMA Denmark meetings 2017

In February IMA held a worldwid Launch party to celebrate our new name and brand. IMA Denmark celebrated at Hotel Scandic Copenhagen where 'Event Ministeret' arranged an absolutely fantastic surprise party for us.

In March Bernstorff Castle hosted our network meeting. Speaker Ole Larsen ( introduced us to using remember techniques.

In May we had our Annual General Meeting and annual dinner at Hotel Munkebjerg in Vejle.

In June First Hotels hosted our summer network meeting. Speaker Stine Ladegaard from First Agenda gave tips and tricks on how to optimize meeting processes.

In September we visited Spisestedet Leonora in beautiful surroundings at Frederiksborg Castle. Speaker Marie-Louise Munter ( gave us an exiting insight in personal branding and SoMe.

In November we had a cross border meeting with IMA Sweden South, where we visited European Environment Agency Copenhagen.

In December we had our Christmas activity at Hotel Copenhagen Island. Speaker Gitte Lund Wenstrøm gave us a presentation on Kursuslex and

IMA Denmark meetings 2016

In February we visited one of our member companies: Nordic Council of Ministers - potential members were welcome to join us. We told about EUMA and what EUMA can do for you - and Settwell talked about how relocation of foreign employees takes place at Nordic Council of Ministers.

In March we visited Hotel AC Bella Sky to hear more about the hotel group, that were to host our conference - their social responsibility focus. The managing director of the entire Bella Center Group Allan Agerholm - previously managing director of Crowne Plaza - joined us and told about his involvement with Team Rynkeby and much more.

In April we celebrated EUMA Denmark's 40 year anniversary. On the same day we had our Annual General Meeting, a network meeting and our Annual Dinner which this year was a celebration dinner.

In June we had our summer network meeting at Hindsgavl Slot. The theme was management, development and strategy by Nils Villemoes, who is a terrific speaker who really understands to engage his audience.

In August we visited Tivoli Congress Center, one of the hotels in Arp-Hansen Hotel group. Speaker Hanne Lindblad gave an exiting insight in how she used trust as a strategic management tool at Call me.

In September we visited Hotel Marienlyst in Helsingør. The speaker, professor Michael Møller from CBS, enlightened us on 'Women and Economy' in his serious but also humorous way.

In November we had our annual member's meeting at Atos IT solutions. Atos' CEO Peter Poulsen gave us an introduction to "Industry 4.0", and Sabine gave us a tour where we among others heard about their "Well-being week" that they have every year. Here you can give a "You stand out" card, a "Thanks a million" card etc. to your colleague.

In December we had our Christmas meeting at Hotel Fy & Bi - a unique and special hotel and restaurant housed in centuries-old buildings, and is neighbour to the world's oldest film company Nordisk Film. The speaker of the evening, Jes Møller-Kristensen, told us about conflict management with his passion for people and their lives
